The Pioneer Woman

I’ve been following her blog for a couple of years now, she’s so many things but mostly hilarious! When I first read her Black Heels to Tractor Wheels story, I knew I’d be frequenting her site. I really enjoy her recipes & she recently came out with her first cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl. It’s a-mazing. I especially love that each recipe has pictures showing the different steps. Last week I made The Pioneer Woman’s Cinnamon Rolls, and WoW. I’m an amateur dough maker, but they were still a close second to my Mom’s (i love you mom!). Just make sure not to overcrowd the pan, not that I did that or anything… The Pioneer Woman also recently opened another website dedicated to recipes, Tasty Kitchen. I could spend hours on there sifting through recipes. The members are so creative and the pictures make me hungry. I had a few friends over for brunch the other day and we made mason jar frappuccinos, they were yummy. Check out The Pioneer Woman & Tasty Kitchen, you will not be disappointed!

To the Photographers out there…

What steps do you take to get the perfect photograph?
Is it all in the camera settings?
Do you do everything in photoshop?
Is the lighting key?
Or all of the above?
