Mommies are loaded with responsibilities. Aside from household chores, they need to take care of the grocery, prepare children for school, cook everyday dishes, etc. They are on duty, 24 hours. Motherhood never ends by the time the child was born. It is a lifetime career. If you want to be fulltime mom, you need to give up some of your priorities. You need to focus on your responsibilities as a mother and forget about the others. Mothers seem to share the same issues. They don’t have all the time in the world to get everything done. They lack time to organize. Aside from kids, other family members are also counting on them which add pressure. Moms are always on call but what if you are a first-timer or a mother of six? How would you keep everything in order? When we add more activities tour to-do list, expect that we couldn’t get everything done. As a result, we get exhausted. Here are some tips to save time organizing so you can spend more time for your family especially the kids.
Things you use often should be made visible such as scissors, brooms, table mats, cooking utensils, keys, reading glasses, etc. Keys should have duplicates so in case you forget yours, you still have another. Stock your bills altogether. To make it easier, segregate based on the due dates mentioned. Pay bills during your relax time so you don’t have to worry over your unfinished tasks at home. Organize your favorite magazines, recipe books and journals so finding them won’t become a hassle. Place them in a shelf, away from children’s reach. Before you forget, keep your boxes and other storage containers labeled. This will shorten the time that you need to spend looking and at the same time, promise safety.
Moms should make sure that the area is clear from clutter. How? There should be trash cans anywhere in the corner. Unnecessary items that can be recycled should be placed together and those of no use should be thrown away. Your child’s outgrown clothes can be stored in huge plastic bins with labels. This way you can do organizing quick, loan them to somebody, or schedule a garage sale. Limit your toy purchase because less stuff means less clean up.
There is nothing complicated than a mom’s life. But, despite everything that is needed to be done, moms still manage to smile. The secret is on organizing.
